The Sweet Escape

YOOHOO!
results today!

what can i say, i was super nervous.
met berdo and mel for lunch at parkway.
then since we were too lazy, we decided to take a cab to school.

well today, 9th february 2007 has gotta be one of the most nerve-wrecking days in my life, yet it ended on a sweet and happy note.

went to the hall for the talk by the principal berfore we got the results.
and we found out that everyone passed lit.
and once i heard that i started crying.
cause i know i DIDN'T fail lit.
cause i knew i freaking screwed up both lit papers.
then i started crying even more, cause i was worried that i'll fall in the C6 range.
but guess what!

I FREAKING GOT AN A1 FOR LITERATURE.

OHMYGOSH.

to think i worried for the WHOLE holidays, cause i was so disappointed in myself for screwing up lit.
praise God! seriously, i didn't think i could have gotten an A1.

so when we got our results slip, i started counting.
and OHMYGOSH.

I GOT TWELVE POINTS. TWELVE.

and i was like a tap, i kept crying and crying.
i wasn't even shouting or screaming or anything.
i only cried.
haha.

so i started calling my mum,dad,vyl to tell them my results.
and i would start crying all over again.

i was so happy la!
and it wasn't so much about the fact that i got 12 points.
but i knew that God truly heard my prayers.
cause in the beginning of the year, i was doing Q.T,and the passage of the ten commandements struck me and left a very deep impression.
and i don't know why, i remember praying and askin God, telling him that if it's his will. he will give me 12 points, so i can minus 2 pts for CCA! and i would get 10 points.
hahah. ohmygosh, God truly works in wonders& i've truly experienced his blessings.
i mean he gives us what we ask for!

so that was why i was so overjoyed.
cause i knew that GOD was sososo faithful!:)

ENGLISH: B3 (my english totally sucks can)

LITERATURE:A1( i still cannot believe this)

COMBINED SCIENCE:A1

COMBINED HUMANITIES: A2

EMATHS:A2 (i though i would get a one though)

AMATHS:B3( OH MY GOSH! I FINALLY PASSED AMATHS)

CHINESE:B3:)

i'm so happy! and thankful.
but this meanss that i'll not stay in yj.
i'll be able to go to my dream schhool which is like MJ!
though i think it's super stressful.
since it's a mugger JC.
but hey! i've got a God who i can count on, and i know that i'll be able to do everything through Christ who strengthens me.

headed home, and mummy was so happy:)
then left to meet cynthieee and yanting,manda,glenn, and ghim lee!

thanks cynthia for the lovely evening and the dinner:)
thank you for all the effort you've put in, especially for me!
i know you played a bigbigbig part in helping me get the grades i got for my maths!
